InfoComm 2022 Highlights
June 28, 2022
InfoComm is the biggest event of the year in the AV industry, featuring the latest and greatest in digital signage, collaboration solutions, video conferencing, and more. While there was a lot to see and take in, here are some of the items that caught our eye.
Biamp Parlé VBC 2500 Conferencing Video Bar
Designed for small and medium sized conference rooms, the Biamp Parlé Conferencing Bar is an all-in-one conferencing bar featuring Biamp Audio Intelligence and Biamp Video Intelligence.
The VBC features a wide angle 4k camera that incorporates high quality optics to enable pristine video streaming at 1080p @ 30fps. The VBC 2500 uses auto framing technology to identify meeting participants and to adjust the focus and zoom to keep participants in view.
In addition to its wide angle 4k camera, the VBC uses a 27-micropohne array and Biamp Beamtracking™ technology to actively track and intelligently mix conversations from around the room. It also contains two smart speakers that use distortion compensation and dynamic bass enhancement technology to create room filling audio with superior speech reproduction.
LG introduced a variety of new Direct View LED (dvLED) displays at InfoComm 2022, including the new 136-inch all-in-one dvLED display.
This new display combines a 1080p screen, on-board webOS controller, and built-in speakers, and includes every component necessary to serve a variety of needs and installation locations, which means it can be installed in just one day. Its “plug-and-play” simplicity allows it to support unlimited usage scenarios from boardrooms and classrooms to transit centers and command centers.
LG’s Ultra-Slim Direct View LED (dvLED) display series includes flat and curved options that enable installation of large video displays on columns, curved walls, and even around 90-degree corners.
Screen LED’s mobile LED screen trailer was quite the showstopper. Taking no more than 15 minutes to set-up, this display features a folding mechanism that folds the display down and into the trailer for safe and easy storage and transportation.
US DOT approved, the MobiLED display can be customized to your needs, with the biggest screen available measuring at 13.12’ x 22.97’. At such a large size, this display can be used in an unlimited number of ways, including streaming live broadcasts or displaying important public safety announcements.
Other features include a wind speed alarm system, video equipment room, and custom branding.
