The Texas Medical Center (TMC) is the largest medical center in the world, with a total of 21 different hospitals, including Memorial Hermann. In 2015, Memorial Hermann broke ground on the $650 million expansion and renovation of its TMC campus. MCA provided and installed the network cabling, nurse call system, DAS, overhead paging system, and CATV system as part of this expansion and renovation. A few highlights of this project include MCA’s installation of 3,461,000 feet of Cat6 cable, 204,000 feet of Cat6 cable for the paging system, and a Hillrom nurse call system for 186 patient beds, 24 ORs, and 15 treatment bays.
